<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a more uniform B1 (RF magnetic field) by multi RF transmission through the use of a plurality of RF transmission channels. <P>SOLUTION: The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus is provided with: an imaging means; and a transmission phase calibration means. The imaging means uses a plurality of radio frequency signal transmission channels and at least one radio frequency transmission coil to transmit the plurality of radio frequency signals for imaging corresponding to the plurality of radio frequency signal transmission channels to a subject. The transmission phase calibration means calibrates the phase of at least one of the plurality of radio frequency signals for imaging on the basis of the phase measurement values of the plurality of radio frequency signals corresponding to the plurality of previously measured radio frequency signal transmission channels. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
