<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal destruction inhibitor capable of effectively preventing seal destruction of a drain trap due to evaporation of a seal water part in the drain trap. <P>SOLUTION: A seal destruction inhibitor to be used in a seal water part 13 of a drain trap 11 includes 1) a liquid first water soluble component (20°C) capable of being mixed with water having a specific gravity of 1.04 or more, 2) a solid second water soluble component (20°C) with a saturation solubility of 30 g/100 g of water (20°C), 3) a water insoluble component with a specific gravity of 0.73-0.95, a vapor pressure (20°C) of 0.15 kPa or less, and a kinematic viscosity ratio of 16.0×10<SP POS="POST">-6</SP>m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/s or more, and 4) a surfactant, as essential components. The seal destruction inhibitor is adjusted so that the specific gravity of the inhibitor as a whole can be 1.01 or more. When a seal destruction inhibitor P is put into the seal water part 13, the seal destruction inhibitor P once precipitates, after which the water insoluble component floats and uniform evaporation protective coatings 17 are formed in both water surfaces 13a and 13b in the water seal part 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
