摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-cylinder towering structure capable of effectively reducing earthquake response in both of newly constructed and existing structures, and a method for constructing the same.SOLUTION: A multi-cylinder stack 10 includes: a plurality of stack shells 1 vertically erected; tie beams 4 for rigidly connecting the stack shells 1 to each other; a core column 3 installed adjacent to the stack shells 1; and attenuation mechanisms 7 pin-connecting the core column 3 and the stack shell 1. The assembly of the stack shells 1 and the core column 3 has a lower positionαnear a foundation, an upper positionγnear a tip, and an intermediate positionβpositioned between the lower positionαand the upper positionγ. The tie beams 4 are installed in a region A from the lower positionαto the intermediate positionβ, while the attenuation mechanisms 7 are installed in a region B from the intermediate positionβto the upper positionγ.</p>
