The invention relates to a casing for a drive shaft comprising a stator and a rotor, as used e.g. in electric motors, generators and other drives, particularly a casing with two end plates, for example, one for the drive shaft including the rotor and one for the stator. The invention also relates to a production method for producing such a casing and to the use of a fibre-reinforced plastic.
