<p>Provided is a power transmission device which uses a reduced number of parts. A power transmission device (47) is provided with: an output wheel (23) and an output shaft (21), which can rotate about the axis; pins (34) provided on the output wheel (23) along the circumferential direction; cams (38) rotatably supported by the pins (34); engagement claws (32) provided to the output shaft (21) and allowing the cams (38) to engage therewith; a ring (36) affixed and provided on the outside of the cams (38) in the radial direction; and elastic members (43) having second circular arc sections (45) which slide on the ring (36) and also having connection sections (46) for holding the cams (38). The cams (38) are held away from the ring (36) by the connection sections (46). When torque which is transmitted between the output wheel (23) and the output shaft (21) exceeds a threshold value, the cams (38) rotate about the pins (34) against the connection sections (46) of the elastic members (43), the cams (38) come into contact with the ring (36) to generate braking force, and torque is not transmitted between the output wheel (23) and the output shaft (21).</p> |
