<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a vehicular rear lamp which enables the lighting of brake lamps and tail lamps in an easily recognizable manner by an operation of the other driving circuit even if one of two driving circuits gets out of order. <P>SOLUTION: The controller for the vehicular rear lamp includes the first driving circuit 13a that controls the lighting of the right brake lamp 12R and the left tail lamp 11L, and the second driving circuit 13b that controls the lighting of the left brake lamp 12L and the right tail lamp 11R. The first driving circuit 13a lights the left tail lamp 11L when a tail signal is inputted, and lights the right brake lamp 12R when a stop signal is inputted.
