<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and correctly estimate a grounded area of a tire with respect to a road surface. <P>SOLUTION: A simulation method for estimating the grounded area X of a tire with respect to a road surface includes: a step A of dividing a tire 100 into a finite number of elements to create a tire model 1; a step B of dividing node points that are apices of elements in an outer circumferential surface of the tire model 1 into grounded node points A1 included in a grounding part grounding on the road surface 200 and non-grounded node points A2 included in a non-grounding part not grounding on the road surface 200; and a step C of calculating the grounded area X by using at least positional information of the non-grounded node points A2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
