<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet head enabling good printing by reducing internal stress generated in a manufacturing process. <P>SOLUTION: The ink jet head includes a manifold, an insulating substrate and piezoelectric members which are sequentially joined to each other via adhesive layers to constitute a lower member and an upper member. The adhesive layer includes: a lower buffer layer (64) formed on the surface of the lower member (61); an upper buffer layer (65) formed on the surface of the upper member (62); and an intermediate layer (66) joining the lower buffer layer (64) to the upper buffer layer (65). A thermal expansion coefficientρ<SB POS="POST">1</SB>of the lower member (61), a thermal expansion coefficientρ<SB POS="POST">buf1</SB>of the lower buffer layer (64) and a thermal expansion coefficientρ<SB POS="POST">med</SB>of the intermediate layer (66) satisfy a relationship ofρ<SB POS="POST">med</SB><ρ<SB POS="POST">buf1</SB><ρ<SB POS="POST">1</SB>. A value of a thermal expansion coefficientρ<SB POS="POST">buf2</SB>of the upper buffer layer (65) is an intermediate value between a thermal expansion coefficientρ<SB POS="POST">2</SB>of the upper member (62) and the thermal expansion coefficientρ<SB POS="POST">med</SB>of the intermediate layer (66). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
