<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more reliable and smaller-sized electrochemical device capable of simplifying a step of cutting a current collector sheet in a manufacturing process, and capable of surface-mounting. <P>SOLUTION: The electrochemical device comprises: a first electrode 107; a second electrode 106; a separator 105 separating the first electrode 107 and the second electrode 106; an electrolytic solution; a container 101 housing the first electrode 107, the second electrode 106 and the separator 105; a sealing plate 102 sealing the container 101; a current collector sheet 1112 disposed between the first electrode 107 or the second electrode 106, and the sealing plate 102.
