<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for manufacturing a pulley shaft with a parking gear capable of reducing cost of a die while maintaining good productivity. <P>SOLUTION: A rod-like raw material is made by cutting a rod (ST01). The rod-like raw material is machined by a hot forging machine to form the pulley shaft including a parking gear part (ST02: a hot forging process). The obtained hot-forged product is conveyed to a rotation positioning mechanism (ST03). The hot-forged product is corrected to be directed to a predetermined direction (ST04). The positioned hot-forged product is conveyed carefully by a loader to a cold forging machine (ST05). The cold forging machine finishes the parking gear part (ST06: a cold forging process). Only the hot forging process and the cold forging process are needed as forging processes. Machining is unnecessary.
