PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid for a cleaning opening of a drain conduit, capable of enhancing safety of pedestrians and effectively preventing rainwater from inflowing during heavy rainfall.SOLUTION: A lid 1 for a cleaning opening of a drain conduit comprises: a frame shaped lid frame 2 of which top face is exposed to the ground surface; a lid body 3 which is detachably fitted in the lid frame 2 and provided with a through hole 14 passing through the center in vertical direction; a movable air vent member 5 which is fitted in a sleeve 4 mounted on a through hole 14, supported to be movable in vertical direction between an upper limit position and a lower limit position, and internally provided with an upper vent hole 23 which has an opening in horizontal direction in the vicinity of an upper end, a lower vent hole 24 which has a downward opening at the underside, and a communication hole 25 which allows the upper vent hole 23 to be communicated with the lower vent hole 24; and an annular packing 6 which is inserted between a through hole 17 of the sleeve 4 and a shank 20 of the movable air vent member 5. |
