<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card capable of surely preventing unauthorized use. <P>SOLUTION: The card stores first signature information which is handwritten by an owner of a card 100 and input previously. When a new piece of handwritten signature information is input as second signature information, the card compares the first signature information with the second signature information and generates signature authentication information when handwriting of both signatures coincide with each other entirely or partly.
