<p>A crosslinked olefin elastomer is prepared by crosslinking an olefin elastomer containing at least a chain olefin-cyclic olefin copolymer elastomer. The chain olefin-cyclic olefin copolymer elastomer can be a copolymer having an a-chain C2-4 olefin and a polycyclic olefin as polymer components. The molar ratio of the chain olefin and cyclic olefin constituting the olefin elastomer can be in the range of 85/15-97/3 in terms of chain olefin/cyclic olefin. The crosslinking method used can be electron beam processing. The crosslinked olefin elastomer of the present invention exhibits both thermal resistance and flexibility.</p> |
