PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording method whereby an image with an excellent glitter and an excellent friction resistance (durability to friction) can be recorded (formed) even on a recording medium of non-ink-absorption or low-ink-absorption properties, and to provide an ink set, and a recorded matter on which an image with an excellent glitter and an excellent friction resistance is recorded.SOLUTION: The ink jet recording method comprises discharging a glitter ink having a glitter pigment dispersed in water by an ink jet method onto the recording medium of non-ink-absorption or low-ink-absorption properties, and includes a foundation layer forming step of forming a foundation layer by giving a resin ink with a resin component dispersed or dissolved in a dispersion medium to at least a portion on the recording medium where the glitter ink is discharged, and a glitter ink recording step of discharging the glitter ink on the foundation layer. |
