Suitable apparatus for the rehabilitation therapy of patients with brain damage

The present invention relates to a device or apparatus for aiding in upper limb rehabilitation treatment in patients with brain damage. The apparatus has a first arm intended for guiding the movement of the distal end of the arm of the patient and a second arm intended for guiding the movement of the elbow of the same arm of the patient in a manner coordinated with the first. The invention is characterized by a configuration of the second arm where the latter comprises a rotating support which is capable of situating the arm on either side of the patient and working with either side of the patient with one and the same second arm.
