<p>The present invention relates to a rear cover which is operated as an auxiliary radiator of an antenna pattern for local area network by forming a slit on the rear cover of a portable terminal made of metal materials, and to the portable terminal having the same. The rear cover has a slit unit which forms an overlapped area with an antenna for local area network when installed on the back of the portable terminal, thereby being operated as the auxiliary radiator of the antenna for local area network by coupling of the antenna for local area network and the slit unit in the overlapped area.</p> |
