A rudder device is disclosed. The rudder device comprises a rudder blade (10) which can be suspended and further, clamped to a rear end portion of a ship through a rudder stock (32). The rudder stock (32) is clamped to the rudder blade (10) and further, enters the rear end portion of a ship. The rudder stock is connected to a steering gear (20) in an upper end portion thereof, and the rudder blade (10) comprises a flap (16) vertically arranged in a rear end portion thereof. The flap (16) comprises an upper side portion (16a) and a lower side portion (16b) which are respectively arranged from each other above and below. |
