<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil absorbing mat capable of efficiently absorbing an oil portion and sanitarily using it in a kitchen. <P>SOLUTION: The oil absorbing mat 1 is provided with a package 2 formed by laminating a plurality of water repellent nonwoven fabric (a first water repellent nonwoven fabric 21 and a second water repellent nonwoven fabric 22) and an absorber 3 made of unused 100% fiber cotton packed by the package 2.
