<p>The present invention relates to an insulator for an overhead distribution line, which can reduce electric shock and protect a worker from danger such as electric shock and prevent the approach of birds. For this, the present invention includes a distribution line support unit (10) which supports and fixes a distribution line (L) to an arm (2) of an electric pole (1); an insulating cover (20) which protects a worker from the danger of electric shock by covering the distribution line (L) and the distribution line support unit (10); and a bird approach prevention unit (30) which is installed in the insulating cover (30) and prevents the approach of birds. Therefore, according to the present invention, a distribution line support unit and a distribution line which are fixed to the arm of an electric pole, are covered with an insulating cover of rubber, thereby protecting a worker from the danger of electric shock, protecting the distribution line support unit from an external force, and preventing birds from sitting on the distribution line by the medium of the bird approach prevention unit or nesting on the arm.</p> |
