<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically fusing joint, which has superior workability when connecting covered polyethylene tubes themselves, and which can suppress the deterioration of weatherability with the falling of a coated layer or others. <P>SOLUTION: The electrically fusing joint 10 has a joint body 12 and a thermally shrinkable tube 14 covered on the surface of the joint body 12 and is used for connecting the covered polyethylene tubes 100 themselves, Both the end openings of the joint body 12 are receiving openings 16 for receiving the tube ends of the covered polyethylene tubes 100. The thermally shrinkable tube 14 forms a covering layer for preventing the deterioration by ultraviolet or others on the surface of the joint body 12, flanges 32 are formed at both ends of the same.
