摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of deciding a proportional gain G<SB POS="POST">p</SB>and an integral gain G<SB POS="POST">i</SB>which are most suitable for controlling plate thickness using BISRA-AGC and PI control jointly and also to provide a method of controlling the plate thickness employing the deciding method. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of controlling the plate thickness in a rolling mill, with the method of controlling the plate thickness by which the amount of a roll gap between work rolls is controlled in the rolling mill provided with a pair of work rolls for rolling a rolled stock, when determining the correction amountΔS of the roll gap amount S of the rolling mill while using PI control which performs proportional control and/or integral control and BISRA-AGC jointly, a proportional gain G<SB POS="POST">p</SB>related to the PI control is determined by a formula using the contribution rateα<SB POS="POST">b</SB>of the BISRA-AGC. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p>
