摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a coating magnetite particle in which the hydrophobicity is high, and which excels in dispersibility in an organic solvent, and can maintain high hydrophobicity even after distributing processing in an organic solvent. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method is for a magnetite particle which includes: a core particle of a magnetite; a silica layer which covers the surface; and a silane compound layer which covers a surface of the silica layer. The manufacturing method is characterized as follows. The amount of an alkali metal ion or an alkaline earth metal ion contained in the silica layer in a core particle in which a silica layer is formed is reduced by ion exchange using a cation exchange resin; after that a surface of the core particle in which a silica layer is formed is covered with an alkoxysilane compound, and heat treatment is performed succeedingly and a silane compound layer is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p>
