Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for encoding and decoding multi-layer video. The multi-layer video decoding method comprises the steps of: obtaining information presenting maximum size of decoded picture buffer (DPB) for layer set including multiple layers from bitstream; determining size of decoded picture buffer for the layer set based on information presenting obtained maximum size of decoded picture buffer; and storing decoded picture of the layer set in the decoded picture buffer of determined size. |
