The present invention relates to a wireless network security system comprising: one or more access point (AP) parts; one or more wireless intrusion prevention system (WIPS) sensor parts; and one or more WIPS server parts communicated with the WIPS sensor parts to control the AP parts and the WIPS sensor parts. In addition to this, the present invention relates to a connection error treating method for the wireless network security system comprising: a first step in which a wireless terminal attempts to connect to a network through a specific AP part; a second step for determining whether the wireless terminal is connected to the specific AP part; a third step for switching a WIPS sensor part adjacent to the specific AP part over to a supplicant mode in the WIPS server part when the connection of the wireless terminal in the second step is not available; a fourth step for running a connection test to the specific AP part using a test account in the WIPS sensor part switched over to the supplicant mode; and a fifth step for figuring out the cause of the connection error in accordance with the result of the fourth step in the WIPS server part. Therefore, the cause of the connection error can be rapidly figured out and treated as a connection test to a specific AP part is carried out by the application of a supplicant mode to the WIPS sensor part.
