PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding release film which, when a release layer is provided at least on one side of a film used for base materials of in-mold transfer foil, can process easily a hard coat layer as such a release layer on the release layer, exfoliates easily from the hard coat layer after transfer, has an adherent release characteristic that a foil-unsticking phenomenon does not occur when slit processing is carried out to a width tailored to the size of an object to be transferred, and further has a release characteristic that a crack (crazing) phenomenon does not occur in the transcript when the transcript containing a hard coat layer or the like exfoliates.SOLUTION: The molding release polyester film has a release layer at least on one side of a polyester film. The release layer contains a copolymer and a crosslinking agent wherein a glass transition temperature is 60°C or lower and a specific fluoroalkyl acrylate component, an acrylate component without fluorine, and an acrylic acid component are included as constituents. The content of the copolymer is 95 wt.% or less and 50 wt.% or more based on the weight of the release layer. |
