The insulating board arrangement (1) has a plate element (2) and another plate element (4), where a plate exterior surface of former plate element is aligned at a plate exterior surface (6) of the latter plate element. The plate exterior surfaces are fastened together. The edges (10,14) of the former plate element are displaced in an extending direction of the plate element to other edges (12,16) of the latter plate element. An independent claim is also included for an insulating device with a plate element.
