1. A method for treating low-caloric waste materials containing carbon for use in a furnace system, comprising:
subjecting the low-caloric waste materials containing carbon to high-temperature gasification under anoxic conditions at temperatures above 1000° C.; and injecting water, water vapor or CO2 to ensure a reaction forming CO and H2, wherein waste heat from a clinker cooler is used for the high-temperature gasification, and hot exhaust air from the clinker cooler is used for heating, with heating being effected through heat exchangers. |
