摘要 The present invention relates to a method for mounting an engine room block of a catamaran large ship, which comprises: a block division drying step (S100) which assembles, welds, and manufactures divided multiple engine room blocks in the corresponding pre-erection (PE) site respectively, and completely mounts a shaft and a propeller forming a shafting system; a block hanger fixating step (S110) which installs hangers at the center of gravity of each block respectively in order to lift the dried blocks upon completion of block division drying; an integrating step (S120) which connects and assembles the multiple blocks inside a drying dock in order to make one integrated engine room block upon completion of fixating of the hangers to each of the blocks; a crane string hanging and lifting step (S130) which firmly connects the engine room blocks through a wire using two cranes in order to lift the engine room blocks at once and then lifts them, upon completion of the integration into on engine room block in S120; and a transferring and mounting step (S140) which transfers the integrated engine room block lifted by the cranes to the upper part of a floating dock, and then seats the integrated engine room block in the floating dock. Therefore, the method for mounting an engine room block can increase completion rate of fittings by binding seven engine room blocks into one group for mounting, can work on the floating dock by completely mounting even the shaft and the propeller, and can shorten a construction period.
