<p>The present invention relates to a device (10) for measuring the light dispersion from a measurement area (12). The device comprises an optical transmitter (14) for sending light rays (18) inside a measurement volume (12) and an optical receiver (22) equipped with a light receiving optical means (24) for detecting the light dispersed within the measurement area. The invention provides an adjustment unit for performing replacement between: a measurement mode where optical axes of the optical transmitter (14) and the light receiving optical means (24) form an angle to one another and intersect in the measurement area (12); and a test mode where optical axes of the optical transmitter (14) and the light receiving optical means (24) are aligned parallel to one another and the light rays (18) pass by the light receiving optical means (24) consecutively to verify contamination. The light receiving optical means (24) is rotationally secured to a movable rotating axis (32). In the text mode, the adjustment unit rotates the light receiving optical means (24) centered on the rotating axis until the optical axis of the light receiving optical means (24) become parallel to the optical axis of the optical transmitter (14), and then moves the rotating axis (32) along with the light receiving optical means (24).</p> |
