<p>The present invention relates to an airbag system and, more particularly, to an airbag system for a ship, which can operate an airbag with buoyancy for delaying sinking of a ship when the sinking is sensed. The airbag system for a ship comprises: an airbag which is stored in an airbag mounting unit formed in a ship; a charging material storage unit which is mounted in the airbag mounting unit, and where a charging material to be injected into the airbag is stored in a liquid state; a sensing unit which senses sinking of the ship; a heating unit which converts the charging material into a gaseous state by heating the charging material storage unit; and a control unit which analyzes sensing information received from the sensing unit and, when determined as the ship is sinking, and converts the charging material into a gaseous state by driving the heating unit.</p> |
