PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint structure by which it can be easily confirmed whether or not joining work of a pipe is properly performed without causing a worker to enter a ditch, and to provide a seal member, a joining state management method of a pipe joint, and a joining state management device of the pipe joint.SOLUTION: In a pipe joint structure, a spigot formed at an end part of one pipe is inserted into a socket 2A formed at an end part of another pipe which is joined to the one pipe, a seal member 4 is arranged between the socket 2A and the spigot, the seal member has a heel part 4a fit into a recess 2B formed at an inner peripheral part of the socket 2A, and a valve part 4b which is compressed between the inner peripheral face of the socket and an outer peripheral face of the spigot, and a marker member 4c is arranged at the heel part 4a to be accommodated in the recess 2B. A periphery of the socket is inspected in a non-contact manner by a marker detection device C2 along an axial center direction of the pipe from the pipe at the spigot side, and it is discriminated whether or not a joining state is satisfactory on the basis of whether or not the marker member 4c is detected. |
