PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable simple and appropriate manipulation for expanding, contracting, or deforming an object.SOLUTION: An system for manipulating objects includes a touch panel for displaying manipulatable objects, and a control unit which controls the touch panel. The control unit includes: a manipulation determination section which, when detecting one or more touches on a predetermined object as well as one or more touches on a point outside the predetermined object, determines that a first manipulation specifying expansion, contraction, or deformation of the predetermined object has been made; and a processing section which, when the first manipulation is determined to have been made, expands, contracts, or deforms the predetermined object on the basis of a touched point on the predetermined object and a touched point outside the predetermined object. |
