<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging optical element capable of preventing a case where a formed image becomes unclear due to reflection of light in transmission sections of a light shield member while passing therethrough.SOLUTION: A CISM 10 includes a lens array 12 comprising a plurality of lenses 11 arranged such that respective optical axes are parallel to each other, and forms an image of an incident optical image from one end side of the lens array 12 on the other end side in the optical axis direction. The CISM 10 further includes light shield members 13, 14, each having a plurality of transmission sections 20 for transmitting light arranged side-by-side in the array direction. The transmission sections 20 of the light shield members 13, 14 of the CISM 10 contain light-transmissive members 21 that transmit light. A refractive index difference between the light shield members 13, 14 and the light-transmissive member 21 is smaller than that between the light shield members 13, 14 and the air. The light shield members 13, 14 and the light-transmissive member 14 are tightly bonded together without air layers therebetween.</p> |
