<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint method for a tire sidewall rubber, capable of producing a pneumatic tire with high productivity by sufficiently securing the joint force at a joint part.SOLUTION: There is provided a joint method for a tire sidewall rubber. The method includes cutting an extrusion-molded long rubber material to a prescribed length and joining both ends of the prepared belt-like sidewall rubber by butting. The long rubber material is cut so that the uneven shapes having the depth of a recess of 20 mm or more are formed on both ends, and then both ends are butted to be joined so that the recess or protrusion formed at one end meshes with the protrusion or recess formed at the other end.</p> |
