<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical pad having excellent X-ray contrast properties, soft and excellent in handleability, having practical strength, and using an X-ray contrast thread suitably usable for medical application.SOLUTION: A pad for surgery is constituted of a pad, and a drawer yarn comprising an X-ray contrast thread attached to the pad. The pad for surgery is such that: the X-ray contrast thread is constituted of a multifilament yarn comprising a core-sheath type composite fiber; the core-sheath type composite fiber is arranged with polyamide resin containing exceeding 70 mass% and 80 or less mass% of barium sulphate in the core part, and polyamide resin having a relative viscosity of 3.0 or more in the sheath part; and based on the total mass of the core-sheath composite fiber, the content of barium sulphate is 45 or more mass%, and the ratio of the core part is 70-80 mass%.</p> |
