<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a culture medium information registration system and a colony detection system capable of efficiently capturing images from large amounts of culture media of different sorting classes when counting the colonies on such culture media, without applying special treatment to the culture media beforehand.SOLUTION: When an instruction field corresponding to a sorting class of a film culture medium F set in a feed mechanism 20a of an image scanner 20 is specified with the instruction field by the sorting class displayed on a computer 10, the film culture medium F is supplied, images of the film culture medium F are continuously captured by the image scanner 20, and the images are associated with the sorting class corresponding to the specified instruction field and stored in the computer 10.</p> |
