PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a wasteful data amount unused for image processing though read into an input buffer, in comparison with a case of a fixed input buffer size for retaining the input data.SOLUTION: An optimal bank size calculation unit calculates an image data size corresponding to an object to be processed, from bounding box information, for example (S10). If the calculated size is an upper limit bank size or smaller, the size is determined to be an optimal bank size (S14). If the size exceeds the upper limit size (No in S12), the bank size is decreased by each burst length from the upper limit size, and if a bank size that can divide the object size is obtained, the ban size is determined to be an optimal bank size (S22). If a bank size that can divide is not obtained, a bank size producing a minimum size of dummy data is determined to be an optimal bank size (S30). |
