PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, an image processing method, and a program capable of displaying an image in a visual field range cut off by a vehicle body while superimposing the image on a vehicle body portion that causes a blind spot.SOLUTION: An image processing device includes: a first visual-field-converted-image generation unit 45 converting an image by a first camera arranged such that an imaging range includes part of a vehicle body to an image in an arbitrary visual field range within a visual field range of the first camera; a second visual-field-converted-image generation unit 47 converting a blind-spot area image by a second camera that images a surrounding environment that is made into a blind spot by a vehicle body area in the image by the first camera to a blind-spot area image in the same visual field range as the visual field range of the image after conversion; and a synthesis processing unit 48 that synthesizes a corresponding area in the blind-spot area image after conversion with a vehicle body area in the image after conversion. |
