PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle capable of improving fuel consumption as compared to the conventional technique without increasing an exhaust amount of NOx and to provide a control method of the hybrid vehicle.SOLUTION: In an ECU 26 of HEV 1A, when substituting a part of driving force of a diesel engine 5 for a driving force of an electric motor 6, a decrement D of NOx accompanied by deterioration of a driving force of the diesel engine 5 is determined and a fuel injection device 18 is controlled such that an injection timing into a combustion chamber 16 of fuel 15 from an injector 17 is set into the early time side in such a degree that NOx is additionally generated by a part corresponding to the decrement D of NOx. |
