PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a maximum tractive force at any time when a driver requests.SOLUTION: A vehicle is provided with command means 22 operated by a driver who is driving the vehicle to commands it by a signal to be driven only by an internal-combustion engine 11, command judging means that judges whether or not the drive has been commanded only the internal-combustion engine 11 by the signal from the command means 22, and control means that controls the internal-combustion engine 11 and an electric motor 17 so as to stop the drive of the electric motor 17 when determined that the driving of only internal-combustion engine 11 is commanded and make the internal-combustion engine 11 drive the vehicle.
