<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoacoustic device capable of suppressing deterioration in a quantitative property of optical characteristic information due to a composition corresponding to a reflective wave of a photoacoustic wave.SOLUTION: A photoacoustic device includes: an acoustic wave transmitter that transmits a transmitted acoustic wave to a specific region; a controller that controls a transmission waveform of the transmitted acoustic wave to be transmitted from the acoustic wave transmitter; a light source that emits light to which a region including the specific region is exposed when the acoustic wave reaches the specific region; an acoustic wave receiver that receives the acoustic wave and outputs a time-series reception signal; and a signal processor that acquires optical characteristic information on the basis of the time-series reception signal. The controller controls the transmission waveform so as to reduce amplification of a photoacoustic wave generated in the specific region by the transmitted acoustic wave to be transmitted from the acoustic wave transmitter.</p> |
