<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reading accuracy of a document.SOLUTION: An image reader includes a mobile body 304 which can move under a glass 301 on top of which the document is located, an image sensor 316 arranged on the mobile body 304 and reading the document on the upper surface of the glass, a spacer 315 interposed between the image sensor and the lower surface of the glass and provided in the image sensor, a spring 314 provided between the mobile body and the image sensor and energizing the image sensor to the lower surface of the glass, and a rotation prevention part 340 preventing the image sensor from being rotated along the lower surface of the glass. The spring and the spacer are arranged to be overlapped in a vertical direction at both ends of the image sensor in a main scan direction, to prevent the bending of the image sensor.</p> |
