PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable organic electroluminescent element.SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent element includes: an organic light emitter 5 having a first electrode 6, a second electrode 8, and an organic layer 7 disposed between the first electrode 6 and the second electrode 8; a support substrate 1 for supporting the organic light emitter 5; and a sealing substrate 2 disposed facing the support substrate 1. In a gap between the support substrate 1 and the sealing substrate 2, a filling part 3 formed of a fluid filler is provided in contact with the organic layer 7. An inspection electrode 9 separated from the first electrode 6 and the second electrode 8 and being in contact with the filling part 3 is provided extending from the inside sealed by the support substrate 1 and the sealing substrate 2 to the outside.
