<p>The present invention relates to a set-top box for providing content based on authentication in multi-device environment, and a computer-readable recording medium storing the method thereof. The set-top box of the present invention comprises: a network connection module transmitting data between a terminal and an IPTV service server; and a control module supporting the terminal for receiving content from the IPTV service server by using an authorization key. Specifically, as a message asking for content from a certain terminal is received through the network connection module, an account is issued based on identification data previously registered in the IPTV service server on behalf of the terminal. After logging in to the IPTV service server based on the issued account, the authorization key is obtained to permit the usage of content created based on the content from the IPTV service server regardless of terminal. And then, the obtained authorization key is transferred to the terminal.</p> |
