FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining deuterium-depleted water includes the electrolysis of a distillate in an electrolyser with obtaining electrolysis gases, transformation of the electrolysis gases into water, its mineralisation in the process of deuterium-depleted water collection. The electrolysis of the distillate is carried out simultaneously in two electrolysers, cathode spaces of which are closed in a contour of an electrolyte circulation by means of a pump and a reverse valve. Initial water with natural content of deuterium is supplied into anode spaces of both electrolysers. Deuterium-depleted hydrogen from the cathode space of the first electrolyser is supplied into the anode space of the second electrolyser, where it is ionised with the formation of deuterium-depleted water, and deuterium-enriched hydrogen from the cathode space of the second electrolyser is supplied into the anode space of the first electrolyser, where it is ionised with the formation of deuterium-enriched water, which is diluted and discharged.EFFECT: effective obtaining of deuterium-depleted water and reduction of prime cost.1 dwg |
