PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce secondary impact of a pedestrian by moving a hood to an upper side when a contact accident occurs with a pedestrian.SOLUTION: An active hood latch device for a vehicle includes: a latch part 20 for locking and unlocking a striker 12 linked to a hood; a base panel 60 on which the latch part 20 is rotatably disposed; a lever member 90 which is rotatably disposed on the base panel, and in which the striker locked to the latch part is positioned within a rotation route; a locking part 80 which is rotatably disposed on the base panel, restricts movement of a guide pin 72, and releases the restriction of the guide pin in linkage with rotation of the lever member; and a drive part 110 for performing cushioning action after rotating the lever member and supplying power for lifting up the striker by using force greater than restricting force of the locking part that restricts the guide pin. In the active hood latch device, at the time of lowering the striker which has been elevated by being pushed by the lever member, rotation of the lever member is restricted so that the lever member does not rotate in its returning direction. |
