PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine, capable of suppressing the accumulation of deposits on an exhaust catalyst in the case that low-cetane-number fuel is used.SOLUTION: A control device (100) for an internal combustion engine (5) includes a cetane number acquisition part (101) for acquiring the cetane number of fuel for the internal combustion engine (5) having an exhaust catalyst (26), a target light-off temperature acquisition part (101) for acquiring a target light-off temperature as being light-off temperature of the exhaust catalyst according to the cetane number acquired by the cetane number acquisition part, an exhaust gas temperature acquisition part (101) for acquiring the temperature of exhaust gas from the internal combustion engine, and a control part (101) for controlling additional injection to be performed after main injection in the internal combustion engine on the basis of a difference between the temperature of the exhaust gas acquired by the exhaust gas temperature acquisition part and the target light-off temperature acquired by the target light-off temperature acquisition part when increasing the temperature of the exhaust catalyst. |
