<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CVT ring which is more inexpensive than a maraging steel, has excellent fatigue strength and strength, compared with the maraging steel and is suppressed in peeling breakage.SOLUTION: A CVT ring is composed of a Cr type stainless steel, and the Cr type stainless steel comprises 0.05≤C≤0.15 mass%, 0.05≤N≤0.15 mass%, Si<1.0 mass%, 0.2≤Mn≤1.5 mass%, P≤0.025 mass%, S≤0.010 mass%, 3.0≤Ni≤6.0 mass%, 12.0≤Cr≤20.0 mass%, 1.5≤Mo+1/2 W≤3.5 mass%, Ti≤0.05 mass%, Al≤0.01 mass%, O≤0.01 mass% and remaining Fe and unavoidable impurities. The CVT ring is surface-treated by a plasma nitriding treatment.</p> |
