<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal complex that has excellent abilities of adsorption, storage, and separation of a gas, also has satisfactory durability, and stably exists under a high temperature and high humidity environment and can hold high adsorption performance.SOLUTION: A porous metal complex includes a divalent metal ion, a terephthalic acid compound that may have a substituent, a 4,4'-bipyridyl compound that may have a substituent, and a monocarboxylic acid compound having 1 or 2 carbon atoms. The metal complex has a sum of 40-75%, the sum of an area of a diffraction peak A in the range of 8.5°≤2θ≤9.5° and an area of a diffraction peak B in the range of 13.0°≤2θ≤15.0°, when the total sum of an area of all diffraction peaks in the range of 5.0°≤2θ≤15.0° is defined as 100%, in a diffraction pattern obtained by powder X-ray diffraction measurement of the metal complex in a state of excluding a solvent in a pore.</p> |
