CUTTING TOOL FOR PROTECTIVE PIPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool for a protective pipe which can smoothly carry out cutting work.SOLUTION: A cutting tool 3 cuts a protective pipe 2 having an approximate oval cross section, and includes a tool main body 4, first and second blade parts 5a, 6a, and a cover body 7. The tool main body 4 includes a through part 4a, and an opening part 4b for putting the protective pipe 2 in and out from the through part 4a. The first blade part 5a projects to the opening part 4b, and cuts a first peripheral wall 2a of the protective pipe 2 passing through the opening part 4b on a side of a smaller width direction P1 of the approximate oval cross section. The second blade part 6a projects to the through part 4a, and cuts a second peripheral wall 2b of the protective pipe 2 penetrating the through part 4a and relatively rotating to the tool main body 4 on a side of a larger width direction P2 of the approximate oval cross section. The cover body 7 can move over a first moving region projecting to a center side of the through part 4a from the second blade part 6a and a second moving region exposing the second blade part 6a to the center side of the through part 4a.
